Expanding Our Plant Growing and Seed Sharing Journey
We’re excited to update you on the progress of our growing plant collection and the changes we're making to improve the process! As our plant numbers increase, we're experimenting with different growing methods, mediums, and container sizes to find the best ways to nurture our plants from seed to harvest.
Latest Seeds Planted and Medium Update
On November 9th, we planted a new batch of seeds using a new growing medium: smaller-sized clay pellets. This change is part of our ongoing efforts to optimize plant growth and ensure strong, healthy plants. These seeds have already started to germinate, and we’re thrilled to share their development as they grow into mature plants. As the seeds sprout and develop their true leaves, we’ll move them to larger containers and different covers to support their growth stages.
Plants in Focus
In this latest planting cycle, we have a variety of seeds, including:
As these plants grow, we’ll be closely monitoring their progress, moving them into bigger pots as needed. Some of the plants will be used solely for seed production, ensuring a continuous supply of seeds for future planting and sharing. Others, such as the lettuce and cilantro, will be grown for their leaves, which can be harvested for culinary purposes, adding both flavor and nutritional value to our food.
Expanding Our Seed Collection
We’re also planning to expand our collection by preparing another space for seed germination. This will allow us to double the number of plants we're currently growing. Our new batch will include seeds for Echinacea and Lavender, which we’re excited to add to our growing collection.
What’s Next?
Keep an eye out for future updates as we continue to monitor and share the progress of these plants. We’ll post regular updates on how the seeds are developing, when we move them into larger containers, and as we harvest leaves or seeds for future planting.
Our Commitment to Sharing
Our goal is not just to grow plants but to create a community around sharing seeds and fostering growth. Whether you're interested in growing your own plants or simply following along on our journey, we hope to inspire more people to connect with nature, expand their gardens, and explore the joys of growing from seed to harvest.
LIFE - Love Is For Everyone!
Stay tuned for more updates on our plant-growing adventure and the exciting new stages ahead!
