Welcome to our "From Seeds to Salad" journey, where we're cultivating Immune-Boosting Greens from Combo 1! This special mix includes Arugula, Bee Balm, Dandelion Greens, Chives, and Red Salad Bowl Lettuce.
We've started by planting Arugula, Dandelion Greens, and Red Salad Bowl Lettuce in the three containers of Group A. The remaining two greens, Bee Balm and Chives, will be planted in Group B.
Latest update, we now have a second container of seeds starting to germinate, our container to the left in the pic is now starting to show it's first true leaves, the image to the right, just little specs of green, soon will grow and we eagerly await the third container to show signs of germiation.
Can you tell which germinated?
Was it the Arugula, Dandelion Greens, or Red Salad Bowl Lettuce?
We will let you think about that, and we will share our findings in a future post as the other seeds germinate.
Do you know what the difference is between Cotyledons, also known as seed leaves, and true leaves? We will share more as we grow our Immune-Boosting Greens, sharing in real time from seed to harvest.
Group B started at the same time with 3 different containers and has no signs of germination from any of the seeds as of today's post.
