From Seeds to Salad:

Our Immune-Boosting Greens Journey

Welcome to our "From Seeds to Salad" journey, where we're cultivating Immune-Boosting Greens from Combo 1! This special mix includes Arugula, Bee Balm, Dandelion Greens, Chives, and Red Salad Bowl Lettuce.

We've started by planting Arugula, Dandelion Greens, and Red Salad Bowl Lettuce in the three containers of Group A. The remaining two greens, Bee Balm and Chives, were planted in Group B, and the bonus growing garlic.

🌱 July 11 Update – Immune-Boosting Greens: Group A & B Progress 🌿

Exciting news from our grow setup!

Group A: All containers now show successful germination! Tiny sprouts are emerging and beginning their journey toward becoming full, flavorful greens.

🧄 Group B - Garlic Alert! Today, we're thrilled to share that our garlic has officially begun to sprout. We start garlic by planting individual cloves—pointy side up—into pebbles, making sure the base touches the water. Regular misting keeps the clove moist until strong roots take hold. Garlic often outpaces other greens, so this container may need to be moved earlier than the rest.

✨ Pro Tip: Don’t toss those garlic scapes! We grow hardneck garlic specifically so we can harvest the flower stalks (scapes), which are rich in the same immune-supporting compounds as the bulb. These make a powerful and tasty addition to our spice blends.

👀 In the photo, it’s tough to see, but the top-right container shows fresh germination—we’ll be watching closely as these sprouts develop true leaves.

🍽️ Remember: Group A + Group B = One delicious, immune-boosting salad full of vibrant, homegrown flavor.

Stay tuned for the next update and happy growing! 💚
