I truly appreciate the beauty of nature, and I enjoy your eye for capturing beautiful images. You don’t have to post every week; posting every second week or even monthly would be perfectly fine. With so many options to choose from, it takes time to fully appreciate each picture. There are 21 choices to go through, and I can select the images I want to save. The words "love," "compassion," and "community" resonate deeply with me, as they convey a sense of connection and empathy. I really enjoy this aspect of the network. Thanks for being awesome!

Daily Dose of Beauty at Waterfront Trail.
Today's images are filled with yellow, with two Monarchs finding their place among the goldenrod.
In the first, a Monarch seems almost surrounded by a sea of golden yellow, tucked deep among the flower heads. In the second, a Monarch rests near the very tip of the goldenrod, reaching the end of the flowers.
Two different moments, yet both are simply doing what comes naturally—finding nourishment where they are before continuing their journey.
There is something about all that yellow that feels joyful. Bright, warm and hopeful. Sometimes we don't need to understand everything behind why a scene makes us feel good. We can simply pause long enough to enjoy how it makes us feel.
And then there is the Monarch.
A little reminder of transformation, resilience and journey. From something that once crawled along a leaf to something that can take to the sky and, for some Monarchs, travel an incredible distance south.
Perhaps there is something for us in that journey too.
We all find ourselves in different places. Sometimes surrounded by abundance, sometimes out near the very end, searching for what we need. We pause, we find a little nourishment for our body or our mind, and then we continue.
Today, that pause is a sea of goldenrod, a Monarch among the flowers, and a little yellow to brighten the beginning of the day.
Take a moment. Enjoy the beauty. Think about your own journey, where you have been and where you may still be going.
Then, like the Monarch, continue on.
