I truly appreciate the beauty of nature, and I enjoy your eye for capturing beautiful images. You don’t have to post every week; posting every second week or even monthly would be perfectly fine. With so many options to choose from, it takes time to fully appreciate each picture. There are 21 choices to go through, and I can select the images I want to save. The words "love," "compassion," and "community" resonate deeply with me, as they convey a sense of connection and empathy. I really enjoy this aspect of the network. Thanks for being awesome!

Daily Dose Of Beauty at the Monarch Waystation Butterfly Garden
Today’s two images show the same dragonfly from different angles.
When you pause and look a little closer, you can clearly see the damage to its wings — visible signs of a life being lived.
In some ways, I think many of us are like this dragonfly. We carry a little wear and tear from our own lived experiences. Some signs are visible, while others are known only to us.
Seeing those damaged wings made me think about the scar across my chest from open-heart surgery. It is one of the visible reminders of what I have been through, what my body has endured, and how far I have continued to move forward.
The dragonfly was simply resting when I stopped to photograph it. After its pause, it would continue doing what dragonflies do.
That is part of my health and wellness mindset too.
Pause. Look a little closer. Rest when you need to. Then continue.
I continue practising what I have learned, seeking a better understanding of my own health and wellness, and sharing what I learn freely with others.
That is also why I continue sharing these images. I have learned how meaningful it can be to notice something as simple as a dragonfly resting nearby. A few moments of beauty, curiosity, and stillness can give our minds a break from everything else happening around us.
Sometimes the signs that we have lived are not something we need to hide. They are simply part of our story.
