I truly appreciate the beauty of nature, and I enjoy your eye for capturing beautiful images. You don’t have to post every week; posting every second week or even monthly would be perfectly fine. With so many options to choose from, it takes time to fully appreciate each picture. There are 21 choices to go through, and I can select the images I want to save. The words "love," "compassion," and "community" resonate deeply with me, as they convey a sense of connection and empathy. I really enjoy this aspect of the network. Thanks for being awesome!

🌸 Daily Dose of Beauty at Parkwood Estate National Historic Site
Today’s images are actually from a few years ago. If I had not told you that, would you have known?
I found myself looking back through older photographs because I was curious about the flowers and butterflies I had seen here in previous years. This year, I noticed one type of flower was still there, but I saw far fewer butterflies visiting it.
Why? I do not know, and I will not pretend to have the answer. But noticing that small difference made me curious enough to look back.
📸 Photography gives me a record of moments I might otherwise forget. I have lost many images from the years before my stroke, but I still have thousands of older photographs I have never shared. From time to time, like today, I will bring some of those moments forward.
There is a health and wellness lesson in this for me too.
🌱 Pause. Pay attention. Look back.
Sometimes small changes are difficult to notice while they are happening. Looking back can help us recognize what has changed—what has improved, what may need attention, or simply what is different.
We do not have to live in the past to learn from it. Sometimes looking back gives us a clearer view of where we are today.
The little things we notice can lead to curiosity, discovery, and sometimes change.
