I truly appreciate the beauty of nature, and I enjoy your eye for capturing beautiful images. You don’t have to post every week; posting every second week or even monthly would be perfectly fine. With so many options to choose from, it takes time to fully appreciate each picture. There are 21 choices to go through, and I can select the images I want to save. The words "love," "compassion," and "community" resonate deeply with me, as they convey a sense of connection and empathy. I really enjoy this aspect of the network. Thanks for being awesome!

🌿 Daily Dose of Beauty — Oshawa Creek Trail 🦋
What do you see first?
Two butterflies, two flowers, two very different moments of beauty — but when I paused and looked closer, it wasn't simply the colours or the butterflies that caught my attention.
In the first image, my eyes went to that incredible long-reaching proboscis. It reaches out from the butterfly, curves upward almost like a horseshoe, then bends back down toward the flower. Following that tiny line with my eyes made me appreciate just how remarkable something we might normally overlook can be.
Then I looked at the second image.
This time, even though the butterfly's proboscis is there, that wasn't what I noticed first. It was the eye — that little green-and-black eye looking back through the image. Against the butterfly's soft white wings and the purple flowers, such a tiny detail became the part that held my attention.
That is something I enjoy about photography and something I can carry into my health and wellness mindset.
What do you see first?
We can all look at exactly the same image and notice something completely different. Even when we look at it again ourselves, our attention can shift. The beauty didn't suddenly appear — it was already there. We simply noticed a different part of it.
Sometimes our days can be like that too.
We can become focused on one thing and miss everything else around it. A small pause gives us an opportunity to look again, allowing our minds to discover another colour, another detail, another little piece of beauty.
🦋 Pause. Look a little closer. What do you see first — and what do you discover when you look again?
You Are Loved. You Are Enough. Love Is For Everyone.
