I truly appreciate the beauty of nature, and I enjoy your eye for capturing beautiful images. You don’t have to post every week; posting every second week or even monthly would be perfectly fine. With so many options to choose from, it takes time to fully appreciate each picture. There are 21 choices to go through, and I can select the images I want to save. The words "love," "compassion," and "community" resonate deeply with me, as they convey a sense of connection and empathy. I really enjoy this aspect of the network. Thanks for being awesome!

🌸 Daily Dose of Beauty at Parkwood Estate National Historic Site
With the two images I posted today, do you notice the similarities—or did you just give them a quick glance?
Take a moment and look a little closer.
The flower petals are similar, but the colours are different. The pistils are similar in colour, but one reaches higher than the other. Look at the butterflies' proboscises: they have a similar curve, yet each is positioned differently within the flower.
🦋 The longer you pause and pay attention, the more similarities—and differences—you begin to notice.
I think there is a simple health and wellness lesson here.
We can listen to others, learn from what has worked for them, and recognize similarities in our own lives. But we are not all exactly the same. We may share many of the same basic needs—nutrition, rest, movement, connection and joy—while the path toward health and wellness can look different for each of us.
Sometimes the difference is simply taking the time to notice.
🌿 Do you quickly consume what is in front of you, or do you pause long enough to really look, think and understand?
Pause. Pay attention. Notice the details.
