  • A Moment of Wellness: The Monarch and the Purple Bloom

When I captured this image of a Monarch butterfly resting gently upon a cluster of purple flowers, I wasn’t just photographing a scene; I was witnessing a quiet lesson in wellness.

The Monarch, with its fragile wings and long journey across continents, is a living reminder of resilience and transformation. To me, it symbolizes the strength found in vulnerability and the beauty of embracing change as part of life’s natural flow.
The purple flowers offer their own meaning: a colour often tied to balance, calm, and healing. Their blossoms seem to invite us to pause, breathe, and reconnect with a sense of inner peace.

Together, butterfly and bloom create a moment that speaks softly of renewal, reminding us that wellness often begins in stillness.

I strive to see beyond the surface of an image. In this frame, I see not just beauty, but a message: that health and wellness are nurtured when we honour transformation, allow ourselves rest, and stay rooted in the gentle power of nature.

  • I truly appreciate the beauty of nature, and I enjoy your eye for capturing beautiful images. You don’t have to post every week; posting every second week or even monthly would be perfectly fine. With so many options to choose from, it takes time to fully appreciate each picture. There are 21 choices to go through, and I can select the images I want to save. The words "love," "compassion," and "community" resonate deeply with me, as they convey a sense of connection and empathy. I really enjoy this aspect of the network. Thanks for being awesome!
