I truly appreciate the beauty of nature, and I enjoy your eye for capturing beautiful images. You don’t have to post every week; posting every second week or even monthly would be perfectly fine. With so many options to choose from, it takes time to fully appreciate each picture. There are 21 choices to go through, and I can select the images I want to save. The words "love," "compassion," and "community" resonate deeply with me, as they convey a sense of connection and empathy. I really enjoy this aspect of the network. Thanks for being awesome!

🦋💚 Health, Wellness, and the First Monarch of 2026 💚🦋
Health and wellness are often thought of as something complicated, but nature continues to remind me that many of the most important lessons are simple.
When I captured this image of my first Monarch Butterfly of 2026, I felt that familiar excitement that always comes when I see one. No matter how many Monarchs I have photographed over the years, each one still brings a sense of wonder and anticipation. Their journey is remarkable, and every sighting reminds me that we are all on a journey of our own.
The vibrant green leaves in this image represent growth, renewal, and life. They remind me that health and wellness are built one day at a time through simple choices. The tea we drink, the food we eat, the time we spend outdoors, the thoughts we choose to focus on, and the connections we make with others all become part of our wellness journey.
The Monarch represents transformation. It does not become a butterfly overnight. Its journey takes time, patience, and trust in a process that cannot be rushed. I have found that healing and wellness are much the same. Whether recovering from illness, rebuilding after hardship, or simply trying to become healthier, lasting change happens through small daily actions repeated over time.
As someone who has faced major health challenges, I have learned that wellness is not about perfection. It is about consistency. It is about choosing to move forward one step at a time, even when progress feels slow. Nature has been one of my greatest teachers in that regard.
This Monarch is the first I have been able to capture and share this year, and I am sure there will be many more in the weeks and months ahead. Every one I see reminds me to slow down, appreciate the beauty around me, and stay focused on the journey rather than the destination.
Perhaps that is the lesson hidden within this image. Growth takes time. Transformation takes patience. Wellness is built through daily choices. And sometimes all we need is a moment in nature to remind us of how far we have come and how much beauty still lies ahead.
🦋💚 From behind the lens, I am reminded that health and wellness are not destinations—they are journeys, much like the Monarch's, one beautiful step at a time. 💚🦋
