I truly appreciate the beauty of nature, and I enjoy your eye for capturing beautiful images. You don’t have to post every week; posting every second week or even monthly would be perfectly fine. With so many options to choose from, it takes time to fully appreciate each picture. There are 21 choices to go through, and I can select the images I want to save. The words "love," "compassion," and "community" resonate deeply with me, as they convey a sense of connection and empathy. I really enjoy this aspect of the network. Thanks for being awesome!

Daily Dose of Beauty at Parkwood Estate National Historic Site.
It is not always about the butterflies, although I certainly love them. Photographing butterflies has become one of my passions—following them, patiently waiting, capturing those brief moments of beauty, and then sharing what I see with others.
I have visited Parkwood Estate for many, many years, and one thing I have learned is that the same place is never truly the same.
I can photograph the same statue year after year and still discover a completely different view of its beauty. Last year, the roses surrounding this area were much taller. This year, they have been cut back, changing the entire view. As plants grow, flowers bloom and fade, seasons change, and the light moves throughout the day, new possibilities for a photograph continually appear.
But you have to slow down enough to notice them.
I think there is an important connection here to health and wellness. We need to learn to pay attention to ourselves in much the same way. Our bodies change. Our abilities change. Our surroundings change. What worked yesterday may need to be adjusted tomorrow. The more we learn and the more closely we pay attention, the more possibilities we may begin to see.
Sometimes I will return to the same statue again and again, looking from another angle, waiting for different flowers to bloom or simply seeing what has changed. Something I have walked past hundreds of times can suddenly offer a view I have never noticed before.
Life can be much the same.
There is beauty around us, and there are possibilities within us, but we can miss so much when we are always rushing to whatever comes next.
Sometimes health and wellness can begin with something very simple: pause, pay attention, and really see what is around you.
You might be surprised by how much beauty was there all along.
