Two images shared today, one dragonfly from two different views.

Sometimes you get lucky. Dragonflies often do not stay in one place for long, and even a little movement toward them can send them on their way. This one gave me the opportunity to slow down, take my time, and move into a better position.

That second view allowed me to capture some of the beautiful rainbow-like colours that can appear when the light catches a dragonfly’s wings at just the right angle. Lighting can completely change what a photograph reveals. Sometimes the right light lasts only a moment—and then it is gone.

There is a health and wellness lesson in that moment too. Our health and wellness can change from day to day. When we are struggling, do we simply keep pushing forward, or do we recognize when we need a little more time to rest, recover, and heal?

Sometimes moving forward begins with giving ourselves permission to pause. 🌿

Pause. Find the light. Give yourself time to heal.

  • I truly appreciate the beauty of nature, and I enjoy your eye for capturing beautiful images. You don’t have to post every week; posting every second week or even monthly would be perfectly fine. With so many options to choose from, it takes time to fully appreciate each picture. There are 21 choices to go through, and I can select the images I want to save. The words "love," "compassion," and "community" resonate deeply with me, as they convey a sense of connection and empathy. I really enjoy this aspect of the network. Thanks for being awesome!
