I truly appreciate the beauty of nature, and I enjoy your eye for capturing beautiful images. You don’t have to post every week; posting every second week or even monthly would be perfectly fine. With so many options to choose from, it takes time to fully appreciate each picture. There are 21 choices to go through, and I can select the images I want to save. The words "love," "compassion," and "community" resonate deeply with me, as they convey a sense of connection and empathy. I really enjoy this aspect of the network. Thanks for being awesome!

🦋🌸 Daily Dose Of Beauty at Parkwood Estate National Historic Site
This little skipper was so small, resting quietly on a flower—and then, just like that, it was gone.
Sometimes skippers come and go so quickly that all you see is a tiny dark speck moving from place to place as you try to follow it. Sometimes I am fortunate enough to get close for a detailed photo. Other times, like this one, I only have enough time to capture an image from a distance.
That uncertainty is part of what makes these walks so enjoyable.
🌿 You pause and take in the beauty around you.
👀 Something catches your attention.
📷 You get the first photo you can, then slowly try to move closer.
Sometimes you get that close-up you were hoping for, filled with beautiful little details. Other times, the butterfly is gone before you get another chance.
But that does not make the first photo—or the effort—any less worthwhile.
❤️ I think health and wellness can be a lot like this.
We can make healthier choices and do our best to care for ourselves, but that does not mean every day will be a good day or that we will never get sick. There can be better days and harder days. We may feel great for a while, feel off for a few days, get sick, recover, and continue forward.
Health and wellness are not about achieving perfection or controlling everything that happens to us. They are about continuing to care for ourselves through the changes.
Just like photographing this little skipper, sometimes you get exactly what you hoped for, and sometimes you do not.
🌸 It can still be beautiful. It can still be worthwhile. And you can still keep going.
