Supporting Oshawa Small Businesses Through Free Networking Events

At ILFJL, our mission has always been to provide free or low-cost opportunities for small businesses to thrive, especially when it comes to navigating the complexities of social media and website operations. We understand the financial constraints faced by small businesses, particularly when it comes to boosting posts, sponsoring ads, or paying for advertising. As these costs continue to rise, our goal is to offer free alternatives that not only support your business but also foster collaboration for the benefit of the entire community.

Community-Centric Networking Events

Our approach is rooted in creating options that are tailored specifically to our community in Oshawa. As a small business operating within Oshawa, you can benefit from networking and collaborating with other local businesses through our events. While our focus is currently on Oshawa, we envision expanding to regional options as ILFJL continues to grow. However, our priority remains with our local community.

Diverse Event Offerings

We are planning a variety of events, some general in scope and others focused on specific topics, such as "All About Canva" or "All About Facebook." These events are designed to leverage our deep understanding of social networks and the unique characteristics of each platform. We want to equip you with the knowledge to navigate these platforms effectively, without the need for costly advertising.

The Hidden Costs of Paid Advertising

We have firsthand experience with how boosting, sponsoring, and paying for ads work. Unfortunately, these methods often come with significant drawbacks for small businesses. Large corporations and experienced ad managers exploit these paid options, profiting from your ads while simultaneously targeting your audience with ads for your competitors. This practice is a major reason why we choose not to participate in paid advertising. Instead, we invest time in building our own network, ensuring that the benefits stay within our community.

By avoiding paid ads, we keep more funds within our community, supporting local businesses rather than feeding into a system that ultimately takes customers away from you. Our activities are driven by a desire to give back to our community, ensuring that everyone benefits from our collective efforts.

Building a Strong, Collaborative Network

As we move forward, our focus is on small, intimate events with 3-4 individuals, allowing us to take our time to grow a meaningful network. We believe in the power of working together—like ripples in a pond, our collective efforts can create lasting benefits for the entire community. We are not seeking massive growth; rather, we are committed to building a network that is productive, rewarding, and beneficial for all involved.

Sharing Knowledge Freely

Keep an eye out for our upcoming events, titled "All About Social Media," which will cover various topics like Facebook, Canva, and the basics of different social networks. Our unique approach emphasizes self-sufficiency, leveraging our experience in HTML, website creation, social media management, content creation, and artwork design. With experience across more than 15 different social networks, we continuously research and refine our strategies to maximize reach and engagement using free options.

We are sharing our knowledge freely, without any obligation. Our hope is that if you find value in our activities, you will choose to become more involved in our community, helping to build a network that benefits everyone.

LIFE—Love Is For Everyone! Together, we can create a more compassionate and connected world.
