I truly appreciate the beauty of nature, and I enjoy your eye for capturing beautiful images. You don’t have to post every week; posting every second week or even monthly would be perfectly fine. With so many options to choose from, it takes time to fully appreciate each picture. There are 21 choices to go through, and I can select the images I want to save. The words "love," "compassion," and "community" resonate deeply with me, as they convey a sense of connection and empathy. I really enjoy this aspect of the network. Thanks for being awesome!

🦋🌲 Stillness Is Strength: A Reflection on Healing, Rest, and Becoming
Looking back at this image years later, I see far more than a butterfly resting on a cedar branch. I see a quiet reflection on health, resilience, and healing — the kind that unfolds slowly, without force.
🦋 The Red Admiral wasn’t moving when I captured this moment. It was simply being. At the time, I focused on the stillness and the beauty. Now, that stillness feels intentional.
⬛ The deep blacks and charcoal tones in its wings speak to the heavier seasons of life — stress, grief, illness, exhaustion. Not as something to hide from…
…but as something that builds strength.
🔥 The bold red and warm orange feel different now. They are quiet sparks of life.
They remind me that vitality doesn’t vanish when things get hard — it waits.
Healing often begins before we can see it.
🌲 The cedar branch matters just as much as the butterfly. Cedar endures.
Cedar protects.
Cedar stands firm through storms and time.
Looking back, I understand how deeply this connects to wellness: 🧘♂️ We all need grounding.
🌬️ We all need safe places to breathe.
🛑 We all need permission to pause.
This image reminds me that health is not constant motion. ✨ Strength doesn’t need to be loud.
✨ Growth doesn’t need to be rushed.
✨ Rest is not failure — it is part of becoming.
🦋🌲 Years later, this photograph carries a truth that feels even more important now:
✔️ Healing is allowed to be gentle ✔️ Resilience can be quiet
✔️ Stillness can be powerful
❤️ You Are Loved — in your pauses,
in your recovery,
in your becoming.
