I truly appreciate the beauty of nature, and I enjoy your eye for capturing beautiful images. You don’t have to post every week; posting every second week or even monthly would be perfectly fine. With so many options to choose from, it takes time to fully appreciate each picture. There are 21 choices to go through, and I can select the images I want to save. The words "love," "compassion," and "community" resonate deeply with me, as they convey a sense of connection and empathy. I really enjoy this aspect of the network. Thanks for being awesome!

🦋 Daily Dose Of Beauty — Waterfront Trail 🌿
Surprises can come at any time, often when we least expect them.
I headed out along the Waterfront Trail hoping to photograph Monarchs, and I was fortunate enough to see five different species of butterflies during my walk. But this beauty was a special surprise—one I rarely get the opportunity to photograph and share.
I had been following a Monarch when it eventually got away. Instead of immediately searching for another, I did what I often do: paused, took a deep breath, and gave thanks for the beauty surrounding me.
For a moment, I wasn't focused on anything in particular. I was simply taking in my surroundings and allowing my peripheral vision to notice movement.
Then something moved close to me.
I turned my attention toward it and realized it was another butterfly. As I moved a little closer and took the time to really look, this beauty came into view.
Sometimes health and wellness can benefit from moments just like this. We can become so focused on what we're chasing that we miss what is already around us. Pausing, breathing, and becoming more aware of our surroundings can give our minds a brief opportunity to slow down and reconnect with the present moment.
The Monarch I was chasing got away—but because I stopped looking for what I had lost, I noticed something unexpected right beside me.
Sometimes the beauty we need isn't where we're looking. Sometimes it appears when we simply pause long enough to notice. 🦋🌿
