I truly appreciate the beauty of nature, and I enjoy your eye for capturing beautiful images. You don’t have to post every week; posting every second week or even monthly would be perfectly fine. With so many options to choose from, it takes time to fully appreciate each picture. There are 21 choices to go through, and I can select the images I want to save. The words "love," "compassion," and "community" resonate deeply with me, as they convey a sense of connection and empathy. I really enjoy this aspect of the network. Thanks for being awesome!

🦋🌸 Daily Dose Of Beauty at Parkwood Estate National Historic Site
One of the things I love about walking here is the seemingly endless combination of flowers and butterflies. On some days, there are so many that it can be difficult to know where to look. On this particular walk, I was able to photograph six different types of butterflies.
Even the same butterfly can move from flower to flower, creating a completely different moment of beauty each time. 🌼🦋
But photography has taught me something important: focus on what is in front of you.
Butterflies are quick. They rarely stay still for long. It is easy to notice another butterfly, a bee, a wasp, or something else moving nearby and suddenly become distracted. I have missed some incredible photographs that way—looking toward the next opportunity before appreciating the one already in front of me.
So I have learned to be patient. 📸
Focus on one butterfly. Watch where it moves. Enjoy the moment. Take the photograph if the opportunity comes.
There will always be something else to chase. Maybe later on the same walk, maybe tomorrow, or perhaps on another adventure entirely.
🌿 There is a health and wellness lesson in that too.
We can spend so much time thinking about what is next that we miss what is happening right now. Sometimes wellness is simply allowing ourselves to be present—to slow our thoughts, focus on one thing at a time, and appreciate the small moments happening around us.
You don't have to capture every opportunity.
Sometimes the most important thing is simply being present for the one already in front of you. 💚
Pause. Focus. Be present. Enjoy the beauty that is here right now. 🦋🌸
