I truly appreciate the beauty of nature, and I enjoy your eye for capturing beautiful images. You don’t have to post every week; posting every second week or even monthly would be perfectly fine. With so many options to choose from, it takes time to fully appreciate each picture. There are 21 choices to go through, and I can select the images I want to save. The words "love," "compassion," and "community" resonate deeply with me, as they convey a sense of connection and empathy. I really enjoy this aspect of the network. Thanks for being awesome!

🍃✨Daily Dose of Beauty – Hope in Every Step✨🍃
There is something inspiring about watching a butterfly pause on a vibrant purple coneflower. The rich magenta petals, fiery orange center, deep greens of summer, and the striking red band across the butterfly's wings are reminders that nature is filled with colour, resilience, and quiet beauty. Even after storms, life continues to bloom.
As I look at this image, I cannot help but reflect on my own journey.
I am coming up on the 5-year anniversary of my stroke. Recovery was never just about learning to walk again or finding my words. I had to relearn how to use my camera—something that had once been second nature. I remember holding it in my hands after coming home from the hospital, knowing it was mine but unable to remember how to turn it on or use it. It was heartbreaking.
So I started over.
Instruction manuals became my teachers. Each walk became therapy. Every photograph became another small victory.
Today, nearly five years later, I still notice small improvements in my memory, my confidence, and my ability to see the world in new ways. Recovery did not end after a few months. It continues with every step I take and every image I capture.
Daily walking has become one of the greatest gifts to my health and wellness. I choose different trails, parks, gardens, and neighbourhoods because every place offers something new to discover. Sometimes it is a butterfly like this one. Other days it is a flower, a bird, a sunrise, or simply the quiet peace that comes from being outdoors.
Photography has become much more than taking pictures. It is mindfulness. It is movement. It is hope. It is proof that healing is often found in the smallest moments we choose to notice.
It is truly a privilege to share this journey with all of you. Every image I post carries a little piece of that journey—a reminder that beauty still exists, that recovery is possible, and that there is always something worth looking for.
If this photograph brings you even a moment of peace, encouragement, or a reason to step outside today, then the journey has been worth sharing.
