๐๐ฆMore Than a Screen Saver โ A Daily Reminder to Grow๐๐ฆ
We spend hours each day looking at our computer screens. Why not let those moments gently encourage something positive?
A nature-inspired screen saver featuring a butterfly among vibrant blooms is more than decoration. It can become a quiet reminder to slow down, breathe, and appreciate the small actions that make a meaningful difference.

๐๐ฆย Wellness, Patience, and a Butterflyย ๐
This butterfly became one of the first subjects I photographed after returning to my camera following nearly five months away.
Back in January, my lens was damaged. While it may seem like a small thing, not being able to use my camera felt like losing an important part of my daily wellness routine. Photography has become much more than taking pictures for me. It is time spent outdoors, time spent walking, exploring, observing, and appreciating the beauty that exists all around us.
It took almost five months before I could afford to have the lens repaired. During that time, I missed countless opportunities to capture moments like this. Yet perhaps that also made returning to photography even more meaningful.
As I watched this butterfly resting among the flowers, I found myself reflecting on patience and growth. Nature does not rush. Flowers bloom when they are ready. Butterflies emerge when their transformation is complete. Healing, recovery, and personal growth often work the same way.
There have been many challenges on my own journey over the years, but each step forward matters, no matter how small it may seem at the time.
Standing there with my repaired lens, camera in hand, I felt gratitude. Gratitude for the ability to walk these trails, gratitude for the beauty found in simple moments, and gratitude for the opportunity to once again share what I discover while exploring Oshawa.
Sometimes wellness is found in the smallest thingsโa walk outdoors, a moment of stillness, a flower in bloom, or a butterfly quietly resting in the morning light.
This image is a reminder to me that even after setbacks, there is always an opportunity to begin again.
