Two Ways of Seeing — One Shared Moment 🦋🌸
These images were taken a few years ago, yet they continue to speak — especially now, with the words Love Is For Everyone present within the frame.
From a distance, the message feels expansive.
A monarch butterfly rests on a zinnia, wings open, unguarded. The full flower is visible — layers of pink petals opening outward, holding a bright yellow center. With Love Is For Everyone woven into the image, the scene no longer belongs to a single moment or subject. It becomes an invitation. Love is not contained. It radiates — petal by petal, outward from the center.
Pink carries compassion and care. Yellow offers nourishment and warmth. The monarch, a symbol of transformation and endurance, is not isolated here. It is part of a larger system — flower, pollinator, colour, light — all connected.
Then I step closer.
The second image narrows the view but deepens the meaning. I no longer see the whole butterfly or the entire bloom. Instead, I see relationship. The monarch’s proboscis hovers just at the edge of the yellow disk florets, about to enter. This isn’t taking — it’s exchange. Nourishment flows both ways.
With Love Is For Everyone present, this close moment becomes a reminder that wellness is not something we hoard. Like the zinnia offering nectar, love is meant to be shared — freely, without judgment, without asking who deserves it.
The golden center of the flower reveals countless tiny florets, each contributing to the whole. No single floret carries the responsibility alone. Together, they create abundance. Together, they sustain life.
Looking back at these images years later, I’m reminded that health and wellness are not individual achievements — they are collective experiences. We thrive when care moves through communities the same way nectar moves through a garden.
Sometimes we need the wide view — to remember that love belongs to all of us. Sometimes we need the close view — to see how love shows up in small, everyday exchanges.
Both perspectives matter. Both tell the same story.
Love is not scarce. Love is not selective. Love, like nourishment, is meant for everyone.
