New Seed Production Method and Expansion of Efforts

We recently encountered challenges with our new seed production method, particularly with maintaining the necessary humidity levels. The seeds were drying out too quickly, which hindered their growth. In response, we’ve initiated a new testing process to improve our methods and ensure successful seed germination.

In our latest approach, we are using small containers filled with crushed clay pebbles, which are ideal for retaining moisture while allowing airflow. After placing the seeds directly onto the crushed pebbles, we mist them with a water and hydrogen peroxide solution to enhance germination. The containers are then covered with lids to maintain the necessary humidity, creating an optimal environment for the seeds to thrive.

As part of our ongoing efforts, we are expanding our plant varieties. We’ve recently harvested new types of plants from the wild, including Common Mallow and Native Blackcap Berry. These plants will be integrated into our year-round indoor growing system, which operates without soil. We believe that by sharing our progress as it happens, others can learn and grow alongside us.

Additionally, we are introducing new sections on our platform in the coming days, particularly focusing on "Health For Dogs/Cats." Our health and well-being are deeply connected to the health of our pets, and by including them in our wellness practices, we enhance our overall quality of life. Many of the plants we grow for our own health can also be beneficial for our pets, contributing to their happiness and, in turn, to our own.

Sadly this did not work, we think that there was too much water used and will be attempting to redo the efforts with a paper towel method for these specific plant types. Some seeds are easy to sprout while others are more challenging without dirt but we continue with our trials to find the best methods for our efforts.

We have started to separate our sections a little separating what is still being tested and what is in active use for our efforts.
