With changing times, we are adding some additional options to our network. It is not a mandatory option but through those we are working with within some of the groups/programs they will naturally have a verified badge added to their profile.
Verified badges mean that those individuals are real people without fake accounts, they have met in person with someone approved to verify they are a real person portraying that individual within our network.
As we expand our activities within this network, added security with who individuals are, especially those working with the LIFE Community Project, LIFE Community Partners & the FIFE - Food Is For Everyone will help us with the work are doing to create benefits for our community.
This network is about our community, creating benefits for all in the communities we live/work and play within. We understand that some individuals use different names for security and safety reasons. We create the ability for verified badges so that we can quickly deal with Fake Accounts. We see the harm of individuals being cloned, the fake accounts spamming and scamming. We see individuals who use fake accounts to attack others or use the accounts to post hate and meanspirited replies to posts. We are a network built upon the principle that love is for everyone, love is about celebrating our differences and acting with these principles within our network.
To help us with our work, verified badges will also help us to reduce waste and allow us to maximize our resources for those in our communities. This will also help us with managing our Just Community Networks, helping to make sure that if a business chooses to be a member, that profile is verified to represent the business that we have a listing for. All business listings we have are verified as we create that listing, trying to post as a business within a community group can not be done without being verified and having a Verified Badge for an already listed business. Profiles that represent a business listing can not post or join any other Just Community Networks other than the network their business is listed within. Each Just Community Network is a hyperlocal network for that specific community and we do not allow business postings outside of that community network.
Verified badges will help to build new and stronger relationships within our network and beyond.
If you have joined the network and wish to have a verified badge, you can connect with any one of the admins of the Collective Groups and let them know you would like to be verified and we will make the arrangements to start to process. Some individuals may find that the admin has already added the badge as that individual was known already by an admin.
