Current Needs Update Jan 27-31:
Help Us Get Ahead for the Week!
We are working to stay ahead of our weekly needs, and your continued support can help us do just that! Here's what we're currently seeking:
Bread: We only need a couple of loaves each week, but if we receive 6-10 loaves, it will be enough to cover us for a couple of weeks, especially with ongoing weekly donations from our amazing local small businesses.
Butter/Margarine: A few more containers (2-4) would help us reduce our need to post for this every week, and we’d only need to ask once every couple of weeks instead.
Jam: We could use a few more jars, so we can also cut down on weekly requests and only post every couple of weeks.
Cheese: We’re working to increase our weekly cheese supply to 200 slices. As our need for free lunches grows, your donations are crucial to helping us keep up.
We are also lucky to have fridge and freezer space available to store a full week's worth of supplies, which will help us stay organized and ahead in meeting our community's needs.
We are grateful to the following small businesses for their generous support of this program.
Volunteer Opportunities:
We are also seeing a growing need for volunteers to help with various activities, including making sandwiches, packaging for delivery, and delivering to those in the program. Some of our recipients cannot attend current support programs in person, often due to mobility issues, and we rely on volunteers to deliver to those in need.
If you're able to help, we would love to have you join us in providing assistance to those who need it most.
Thank you for everything you do—together, we make a difference.
