Why I Am Working Toward Wellness Without Barriers Oshawa
And Why Education Has Become Such a Major Focus of My Efforts
Many people see the things I am building, the education I am sharing, and the many areas I continue learning about—but may not fully understand why I place so much focus on these efforts.
The truth is, everything I am doing is connected to a larger purpose.
That purpose is what I am building toward with Wellness Without Barriers Oshawa.
More Than Just a Space
When people hear the name Wellness Without Barriers, some may think it is simply about creating a physical location.
But to me, it is much more than that.
It is about creating a space where people can come to:
- learn
- grow
- create
- improve their health and wellness
- and discover options they may never have realized were available to them
It is about removing barriers that prevent people from improving their lives.
Because one truth I have learned through many years of helping others is this:
Many people do not struggle because they lack desire to improve— they struggle because they lack access, education, opportunity, or support.
That is what I want to help change.
Why Education Matters So Much
Education has become one of the greatest focuses of my efforts because knowledge creates opportunity.
When someone learns something new:
- they gain confidence
- they gain skills
- they gain independence
- and they gain new ways forward
Knowledge can reduce barriers in ways many people never think about.
Sometimes helping someone does not mean simply giving them something.

Learning New Skills to Expand What I Can Teach Others
That is exactly why I continue to push myself to learn new things.
This summer, one of my focuses will be growing more lavender while continuing to expand my education into:
- basket making
- cordage making
- natural crafting methods
In fact, that process has already begun.
I have already started learning about:
- how baskets are made
- how cordage is created
- how natural materials can be transformed into practical items
Why?
Because every new thing I learn creates another opportunity.
Not just for myself—
but for others as well.
Expanding Options for the Future
Everything I learn becomes another tool I can bring into Wellness Without Barriers Oshawa.
Because my goal is not simply to have one narrow focus.
My goal is to create a space where people can explore many forms of practical education and hands-on learning.
Imagine a space where people can come and learn:
- how to grow plants for wellness
- how to make natural products
- how to preserve food
- how to create wellness balms
- how to make baskets
- how to create cordage
- how to turn simple skills into practical tools for life
These are not just hobbies.
These are life skills.

These are pathways that can even become side income for some.
