Refresh & Hydrate for All

Every Small Act of Kindness Makes a Difference

Summer heat can be especially challenging for individuals experiencing homelessness or financial hardship. Something as simple as a cold bottle of water or a freezie can provide comfort, reduce the risk of dehydration, and remind someone that their community cares.

That is the goal of our Refresh & Hydrate for All fundraising effort through the Not Just A Food Program.

Funds raised help us purchase water and freezies that are distributed during our outreach efforts across Oshawa, alongside the free sandwiches and compassionate conversations we already provide. These simple acts of kindness can have a lasting impact, offering both physical relief and a moment of human connection.

If you would like to help, you can message our Not Just A Food Program or Just Oshawa Facebook pages to arrange donations of cases of bottled water, freezies, or financial support. We can also coordinate pickup when needed.

Even more importantly, we encourage you to participate in our Stickers With Purpose and other fundraising initiatives. By purchasing these items, you're not only helping fund the Refresh & Hydrate for All campaign but also supporting a variety of community-driven projects designed to create lasting positive change.

Every fundraiser with purpose helps build toward our long-term vision of Wellness Without Barriers Oshawa—an initiative focused on expanding free opportunities for growing, learning, wellness, and community support. Your participation today helps lay the foundation for even greater benefits for everyone in our community tomorrow.

Together, we can create a stronger, more compassionate Oshawa where simple acts of generosity help ensure that no one is forgotten and everyone has the opportunity to feel refreshed, supported, and valued.
