Funding With Purpose — Building Real Support in Oshawa

Sometimes, it’s the simplest things that make the biggest difference.

Right now, we are preparing to support a current need within the Not Just A Food Program. The exact need may change as we move forward — it could be something like a wagon, or another essential item — but what matters most is that the need is real, and the support will be meaningful.

Instead of waiting until everything is finalized, we are moving forward with what we do best — building solutions with purpose.

A Simple Way to Take Action

We are launching a Sticker Pack Fundraising Campaign built to be flexible, repeatable, and community-driven.

These sticker packs will come from our Inspiring Times — Stickers With Purpose collection.

They are more than just beautiful stickers — they carry meaning, intention, and connection.

Each one represents:

• A message of love, hope, and encouragement
• A reminder that you are not alone
• A simple way to be part of something bigger
• Sticker Packs: $5 each
• Current Goal: [To Be Announced — based on the identified need]

Once the goal is reached, any remaining funds will go toward helping launch Wellness Without Barriers Oshawa — creating more opportunities for health, learning, and support within our community.

Building With Local Small Businesses

This effort will be built alongside 5 local small businesses in Oshawa.

Right now, we are actively seeking partners who want to be part of something meaningful.

Each participating business will:

• Host the sticker packs
• Be featured in our storytelling efforts
• Help bring real support to real needs within our community

This is about more than fundraising — it’s about building connections that strengthen Oshawa.

Sharing the Story — Every Step of the Way

As we move forward and confirm the current need, we will begin sharing the journey.

Every day, Monday to Friday:

• A short story article will be posted on our website
• Each story will highlight a participating small business and their role in supporting the effort
• These stories will be shared across Just Oshawa’s social network (9+ platforms)

This continues until the goal is reached.

When the need is fully supported, we will close with a Thank You Story, recognizing every business and every person who helped make it happen.

This Is Just the Beginning

This first campaign is not about one item — and it’s not about one moment.

It’s about creating a working model.

The sticker packs are just the beginning. The need we support today is just the beginning.

We are building:

• A system for ongoing, small fundraising efforts
