Improv For Mental Health Workshop
Who: Open to everyone! Whether you're new to improv or looking to deepen your understanding of mental wellness, this workshop is designed for participants of all backgrounds to empower their voice and foster community.
What: A transformative 10-week workshop combining the joy of improv with key mental health insights. Through fun, interactive improv exercises, participants will learn to embrace spontaneity, build resilience, and connect deeply with others.
Where: Located at the YWCA, 1 Mcgrigor St in Oshawa, we will have a welcoming space designed to inspire creativity and connection. Plus, selected sessions will feature virtual components to accommodate participants from afar.
When: Kicking off April 17th, sessions run every Wednesday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Each week introduces a new theme, building towards a celebratory showcase where participants can share their journey.
Why: Because laughter is healing and connection is empowering. This workshop offers a unique approach to mental health, encouraging personal growth, confidence, and community support—all through the liberating power of improv.
