🌿 Daily Dose of Beauty at Parkwood Estate National Historic Site 🌿

👀 What made me look up?

I had stopped for a moment—just taking a pause and beginning to appreciate the beauty around me. The garden I was interested in was in front of me, but I rarely look in only one direction. I like to slowly take in everything around me.

🌳 A tree was above and behind me, and something at the farthest reaches of my vision caught my attention.

I looked up, and there was this little beauty. 🐦

📸 I managed to take a couple of pictures before it began flying from branch to branch, giving me the opportunity to capture a few different views—including some from underneath that I might never have noticed otherwise.

💚 You never know what a pause and a slow look around might bring—especially when you remember to look in unexpected directions.

That is something I have learned to appreciate as part of health and wellness. Sometimes slowing down, becoming more aware of our surroundings, and giving ourselves a moment to simply observe can change what we notice.
