You Are Enough 2 DSCF1755 Screen

🍃🦋More Than a Screen Saver — A Daily Reminder to Grow🍃🦋

We spend hours each day looking at our computer screens. Why not let those moments gently encourage something positive?

A nature-inspired screen saver featuring a butterfly among vibrant blooms is more than decoration. It can become a quiet reminder to slow down, breathe, and appreciate the small actions that make a meaningful difference.

🦋🌿 Beauty Finds Those Who Keep Looking 🌿🦋

There are moments in nature that you know are special before you even press the shutter.

Yesterday was one of those moments.

A small Common Blue butterfly resting on a dandelion seed head is something I had never seen before. Butterflies often visit flowers for nectar, but finding one perched so delicately on a dandelion ready to release its seeds into the wind is incredibly rare. I knew immediately this would become one of those images I would remember for a very long time.

As I approach the 5-year anniversary of my stroke, moments like this carry even greater meaning.

On July 25, 2021, I suffered a major stroke. After 29 days in the hospital, I left needing a walker and oxygen. I had to learn to walk again. I had to learn to talk again. What many people don't know is that I also had to relearn how to use my camera. The first time I picked it up after coming home, I couldn't even remember how to turn it on. With the instruction manual beside me, I slowly rediscovered photography, one button, one setting, and one photograph at a time.

Today, every image is a reminder that healing doesn't always happen in giant leaps. Sometimes it happens one walk, one flower, one butterfly, and one photograph at a time.

I've also noticed something else along this journey.

The more I choose to look for beauty... the more beauty seems to find me.

Whether that's because I am paying closer attention, spending more time in nature, or because love and gratitude change the energy I bring into the world, I cannot say for certain. What I do know is that when I walk with an open heart, opportunities like this seem to appear more often.

This tiny butterfly resting on a dandelion seed head reminds me of something important.

The dandelion releases hundreds of seeds that drift wherever the wind carries them, creating new life in unexpected places. In much the same way, every act of kindness, every encouraging word, every photograph shared, and every lesson learned can create ripples we may never fully see.

Healing spreads the same way.

One small step.
One hopeful moment.
One act of love.

May we all continue to plant seeds of hope wherever we go.

LIFE – Love Is For Everyone. 💙💚
