The ILFJL Collective is driven by a fundamental belief: how we care for our most vulnerable reflects the true health of our community. We believe that love and compassion should be accessible to everyone, and this philosophy guides all our initiatives. Unfortunately, in our current society, financial constraints often create significant barriers, making basic necessities like health and wellness options available primarily to the wealthy and privileged.

We recognize the importance of personal responsibility; however, we also believe in empowering individuals to take meaningful steps towards positive change. The Not Just A Food Program embodies this principle by creating supportive pathways that encourage and facilitate healthier, happier lives. While acknowledging the complexities of issues like homelessness and mental health, we approach these challenges with love and compassion, understanding that each person's journey is unique and requires individualized support.
This commitment to accessibility is why all ILFJL Collective programs, including the Not Just A Food Program, are designed to be free of financial costs.

Expanding on this commitment, we are proud to introduce Plant Share For All, a new initiative within FIFE (Food Is For Everyone). This program aims to freely provide plants, nutrient solutions, and containers to participants, with the understanding that they will share the harvest they yield. Plant Share For All will provide "plants with purpose," carefully selected to address the diverse needs of individuals within the Not Just A Food Program.

We invite you to discover this new initiative and join us in cultivating joy, health, and happiness for everyone in our community.

  • John I would love to try and grow some of these plants for the share program. I have a lot of room in the back yard and in the winter Ill bring them in. Or I could even put up a small cheap greenhouse. We will have a carve some time out to talk more about this. Thank you for all your hard work.
