Arugula: Day Two – Signs of New Life
By the next day, we were excited to confirm that some of our Arugula seeds had officially begun to germinate. Even after more than a year and a half in storage, these seeds are proving their strength and vitality.
We observed the early stages of growth: some seeds had begun showing their radicle—the first embryonic root that emerges during germination. Others had already progressed further, with their cotyledons, or seed leaves, starting to gently unfold.
Each stage is a small but powerful reminder of the life contained within every seed.
We’ll continue to document this journey from seed to harvest—and eventually, to the next round of seed saving.
Stay tuned for more updates and tips as we grow together.
Until then, have an amazing day—As We Grow!
