π Happy Sandwiched Day! April 17π
With the mall closed for Easter on Friday and Monday, we're having a "sandwiched" workday today. It's a special day because John and his amazing team of volunteers are busy in their donated time slot at the commercial kitchen, crafting their famous turkey sandwiches! π₯ͺ These delights are always a hit at the office.
If you've signed up for pick-up at the office, the sandwiches will be ready around 1 PM or just after. Please be patient. Thank you for your understanding!
If you wish to help or donate supplies for the sandwiches , please contact John directly .
A huge thank you to John E Walker and his "Not Just a Food Program" team for their hard work and dedication. We truly appreciate everything you do! π

I also want to express my gratitude to the volunteers who take the time to message me, check in, and ask how I am doing. It's rare for someone to think about me, so it means a lot to have someone who cares enough to call and ask about my well-being.
I am especially thankful to the person who has created this amazing network, allowing me to be a volunteer rather than just a client or another number. I have spoken with John, who has taken the time to get to know me and understand what I am all about. I genuinely believe that together, he and I can accomplish great things in our community.
The Food Share program and hydroponics setups in businesses are initiatives that I am passionate about, as they would enable me to meet new people who share my love for hope and community support. Lastly, I want to thank Mary for her dedication to peer support and her contributions to the community. I have only met her a few times, but I remember her warm greetings and constant smile that create such a welcoming atmosphere.
