Actions Speak Louder Than Words

— Choosing Empowerment

On Monday, Sept 8, I had a choice. I could have asked for a ride to pick up bread. It would have been easy, and many people would have gladly helped. Instead, I chose to walk, carry a backpack, pick up the supplies myself, and then deliver them the next day to the kitchen.

Why? Because the little choices matter. Choosing the harder path can build strength, resilience, and empowerment. For me, recovering from a stroke has been about these daily choices. Some challenges aren’t visible, like memory or word connection, but I see steady improvements because I refuse to sit back and just hope for recovery. I act on it.

Eating fresh, nutritious plants, walking when it would be easier to ride, wearing clothes with empowering messages like “You Are Loved”, these little actions create ripples. They build me up, and they remind others that they matter too.

I believe health and wellness should never be a privilege only for those who can afford it. That’s why I share what I’ve learned and created freely, through Not Just A Food Program and FIFE – Food Is For Everyone. No politics, no religion, just love, compassion, and action.

Walking with a backpack full of bread to make sandwiches with others, then delivering them to people in need, is more than just service. It’s empowerment, for me and for others. Small actions, done with love, help build stronger, healthier communities.

Every ripple counts.

Every choice matters.

Love is for everyone, and I choose to live my life with love for all. ❤️
