“FOR THE LOVE OF HORSES”. “NEXT STEP STABLE” is dedicated to rejuvenation, recovery, and assisting horses on their journey to a new home.
We are a not-for-profit organization run by a dedicated staff of wonderful enthusiastic volunteers whose philosophy and mantra is “FOR THE LOVE OF HORSES”. “NEXT STEP STABLE” is dedicated to rejuvenation, recovery, and assisting horses on their journey to a new home. We are advocates for homeless horses or horses who have reached the end of their career or can no longer function in their selected discipline. Our mandate is to take in a controlled number of these horses and prepare them for their new home through adoption. The timeframe for this process depends on each individual horse and its needs. A significant part of the rehabilitation of each animal is reducing its stress and fear of humans. To this end we encourage volunteer and community participation. Our funding is generated through various fundraising projects, events, and private donations.
