Join the Oshawa Small Business Clothing Drive and Awareness Campaign

We are calling on three Oshawa-based small businesses to collaborate in a meaningful initiative: a Clothing Drive and Awareness Campaign aimed at supporting our community's most vulnerable individuals. Together, we can make a significant difference while raising awareness of both local businesses and the pressing needs of our neighbors.

How It Works

Participating businesses will:

• Receive a 102L donation tote for their location, where community members can drop off clothing donations.
• Have donations picked up 1-2 times weekly as needed.
• Commit to posting on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok weekly using content provided by the campaign.
• Like and share posts from other participating businesses weekly to increase visibility and engagement for all involved.

Why Participate?

1. Support Those Most in Need:
   Donations collected will directly benefit:

   • Clients of the Front Porch Mentors Program, serving Oshawa's homeless, marginalized, and vulnerable populations.
   • Clients of the LIFE Clothing Program, which delivers clothing to individuals facing mobility challenges or other barriers, ensuring they receive help without stigma or judgment.

   Items urgently needed include socks, underwear, gloves, and winter clothing.

2. Boost Your Business Visibility:

   • Gain exposure to new audiences by cross-promoting with other small businesses.
   • Build positive engagement with your community by showcasing your participation in this compassionate initiative.

3. Collaborative Marketing:

   • Professional-quality content will be created for participants, including custom artwork, images, and reels for video content.
   • Donation totes will feature the logo of each participating business, visible to everyone donating items.
   • Posters with all participants' logos will be provided for display in prominent, public areas at each location.
